Čupr and TPAG acquire German baby food manufacturer Töpfer
TCF Capital, together with TPAG, is expanding its portfolio with the acquisition of Töpfer Babywelt, an iconic German producer of organic baby and children’s food with more than a century of tradition. The takeover from insolvency opens the door to strengthening both product quality and brand reputation, maintaining production in Bavaria, and expanding distribution across European markets.
Töpfer is already part of the group’s ecosystem — its products are available under the Lambini brand on Rohlik and Pilulka platforms. This creates strong synergies across the portfolio, combining healthy living, innovation, and accessibility for customers.
According to Peter Klekner, CEO of TCF Capital, “Töpfer has exceptionally high-quality products and a team of skilled and loyal employees.” The strategic goal is to restore the brand to a leading position in premium baby nutrition in Germany — and gradually in other markets as well.
